G-shock collection was born in 1981 as  the result of the “Project Team Tough”, created with the aim to project ‘the definitive unbreakable watch’. It took two years and more than 200 prototypes before the first G-Shock watch was launched.

Today G-SHOCK is celebrating 40 years of successes, having achieved groundbreaking innovation, which guides the design of each new Casio G-shock model.
